B) REVIEW OFFLINE EDIT

I received feedback and the viewer sent me this email:

In light of what they said, I have added colour grading, I tightened my cuts and we recorded more angles for the shots we had such as the picnic scene.

C) APPLYING APPROPRIATE VISUAL EFFECTS AND TRANSITIONS

This in-shot transition was used to go between scenes and to base us around the house again. It was easy to do and we used masking to do it. We inverted the mask so that it showed the bottom clip rather than a black screen. It was difficult to figure out what to do but once we got a grasp of what we were doing it was easier.

We used masking in order for us to transition the shot within the video. We used masking because of the practice we had and because it was the easiest way of us being able to transition the shot. We had to add a final fade to black in order for the shot to look decent because it was difficult to add another mask in while George was moving and blocking the TV. We did this for continuity sake.

D) LINKING AUDIO TO VISUAL AND APPLYING AUDIO EFFECTS
No audio effects were needed because it is a music video but, we needed to lipsync the clips to the song which was easier than expected. Each shot started from the beginning of the song so once that first note came through it was easier to edit the whole project together. Although this isn't the most practical way of filming, it made the editing easier.
